Wild Force from the Scarlet & Violet Series
Wild Force is an expansion from the Scarlet & Violet Series and has the Japanese set code SV5K. The set was released in Japan on January 26, 2024, together with its sister set Cyber Judge. A Wild Force booster contains five randomly selected cards and is especially appealing to fans of Asian Pokémon cards and powerful Paradox Pokémon.
Paradox Pokémon from the Past
Wild Force focuses on so-called Pokémon from the past. These primeval-looking Paradox Pokémon combine familiar Legendary Pokémon with extraordinary forms and powerful designs. As a result, the expansion has a distinctly more primal and wilder theme than its futuristic sister set Cyber Judge.
Raging Bolt ex as the Set's Highlight
Raging Bolt ex is one of the most important cards in Wild Force and is based on an ancient form of Raikou. The striking Dragon- and Electric-type design makes the Pokémon a special subject for Collectors. In gameplay, Raging Bolt ex also offers a powerful attack whose damage can be increased by discarding additional Energy cards.
Discover Walking Wake ex and Gouging Fire ex
In addition to Raging Bolt ex, Wild Force contains other Paradox Pokémon such as Walking Wake ex and Gouging Fire ex. The two Pokémon resemble Suicune and Entei and also appear in the set with specially designed illustrations. Together, they form a striking group of ancient Legendary Pokémon and are among the expansion's central collecting themes.
